Rectorate of the University of Novi Sad

NGO “Zeleni Sad” was founded in 19 August 2013 in Novi Sad, aimed at advocating for the protection, ecology and improvement of environmental quality, for the concept of sustainable development, educating young people in areas that would benefit them in future employment, raising awareness of nature conservation, organizing activities for rehabilitation of vulnerable areas, as well as public advocacy for changing habits to benefit nature conservation, promoting healthy living, and preserving cultural heritage. It is our desire that through our activities and projects, we motivate young people to take the initiative to change their awareness of the environment, nature and relationships within it.

The “Ekoliving” project, co-funded by the City’s Sports and Youth Administration, is a guide to living in harmony with the environment. The aim of the project is to get to know and remind young people of the methods they could use in their daily lives to preserve the environment. The presentation itself is a form of interactive lecture in which we will present a guide, get acquainted with different terms regarding environmental protection and discuss together the problems and possible solutions for nature conservation and youth awareness.
