AIR PROTECTION LAW

This law regulates air quality management and determines measures and controls the implementation of protection and improvement of air quality as a natural value.

Air protection is achieved by:

1. air quality management in the territory of the Republic of Serbia
2. preserving and improving air quality in order to prevent or reduce harmful effects on human health and the environment
3. Avoiding, preventing and reducing pollution affecting ozone depletion and climate change
4. fulfilling obligations in accordance with confirmed international treaties
5. international cooperation in the field of protection and improvement of air quality and ensuring that this information is made available to the public.
