EcoMan 3.0

Ecological Association “Zeleni Sad” is proud to announce the third annual EcoMan 3.0 event, inspired by the famous IronMan event, which will take place on October 5th in Novi Sad, at Mornarska 35 – the location of our Green Coworking Center. This unique event combines ecology and sport to encourage the community to actively participate in environmental protection through practical actions of cleaning and waste collection. This year, EcoMan 3.0 will consist of various disciplines including running, cycling, and waste sorting.

Ecological Engagement through Sport

EcoMan 3.0 is not just a race, but also an opportunity for Novi Sad citizens to engage directly in improving the local environment. Each team, consisting of three members, will have a role in the race: one will run, another will cycle, and the third will be responsible for sorting waste. By encouraging teamwork, as well as individual contributions to environmental goals, “Zeleni Sad” strives to present ecology in a creative way. We want to create a city where citizens can live in harmony with nature, fostering innovation in ecological solutions and active participation in events like EcoMan 3.0.

Unlike previous years, individuals who do not have a team will have the opportunity to register and be assigned a team on the day of the race!

Dedication of Zeleni Sad

The Ecological Association “Zeleni Sad” has a long-standing tradition of environmental protection in Novi Sad, starting in 2013. After the supercell storm in 2023, we carried out large-scale planting and city restoration, demonstrating our commitment to revitalizing the local ecosystem and creating a more sustainable future for all citizens. We have also built and maintained a vertical garden in Detelinara and a park in Primorska. Zeleni Sad members work diligently in educating children and young people—from planting in kindergartens to researching high school students’ needs related to ecology and environmental protection.
